The principality of Andorra is situated between Spain and France , and covers an area of 468km2 with a population of approximately 70000.

The official language is Catalan, but Spanish and French are also widely spoken.

The official currency is the EURO.

Andorra is divided into seven “parishes”: Canillo, Encamp, Ordino, La Massana, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julia de Loria and Escaldes-Engordany.

As regards customs and commerce, the Principality can be seen as a “third country”, with an agreement between the Customs Union and the EC, whereby agricultural and industrial products are treated completely differently.
